This lecture offers students important insights into the “human” and “behavioral” sides of organizations. The course has two parts – covering the fundamental aspects of “organizational behavior” and “human resource management” in organizations.

In the first part, Prof. Martin Högl explores motivational drivers and essential aspects of team and leadership matters in organizations. The second part, taught by Prof. Ingo Weller, covers the basic principles of human resource management, especially recruitment/hiring, training/human capital, work design, and compensation. The course is taught in English.
